MidMichigan Health partnered with AVI-SPL to support a major expansion focused on improving patient quality and safety through medical education. The healthcare organization needed advanced AV and communication systems for its new Gerstacker Building, including simulation, preceptor training, and flexible conference spaces for resident physicians, medical students, and staff.

AVI-SPL designed, engineered, and integrated the full solution, including Crestron control systems, Epson projectors, Polycom audio/video in exam rooms, Samsung wireless-enabled displays, domed cameras, and a HIPAA-compliant closed-loop network. The result was a 70,000-square-foot training facility that enabled hands-on, reviewable, and secure education for more than 3,000 square feet of simulation space, 12 examiner rooms, and conference areas that can serve over 100 people, helping MidMichigan Health train roughly 80 participants in an early post-opening program.
