Maryland Live! Casino, developed by The Cordish Company in Hanover, MD, needed a flexible audiovisual system that could deliver digital media and cable TV to any display across the property with minimal complexity and high reliability. To meet that challenge, AVI-SPL was brought in as a familiar integration partner to design and implement the casino’s AV and lighting systems, including display control, audio distribution, and an RF-based video backbone.

AVI-SPL installed hundreds of displays throughout the 160,000-square-foot casino, along with an AMX control system, Contemporary Research display controllers, RF cable system, and audio reinforcement for key venues like R Bar and Ram’s Head Center Stage. The solution was built to evolve with the fast-track construction schedule and support future expansion, while giving staff the ability to quickly change content and route signals from anywhere. The result was a highly flexible, reliable system that exceeded expectations and delivered the desired “wow” factor for guests.
