Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (L.A. Metro) worked with AVI-SPL to replace outdated analog AV in its headquarters boardroom. The legacy system dated to the early 1990s, was difficult to maintain, and caused audio problems such as feedback when the room volume was raised.

AVI-SPL designed and integrated a modern public hearing system centered on AMX control and Biamp Tesira, along with steerable Meyer Sound speakers, cameras, touch panels, and recording tools. The upgrade improved audio clarity across the roughly 300-seat space, made the system easier for technicians to manage, and gave board members and audience members a much better experience; L.A. Metro said it could “hear everything” and was proud to showcase the new boardroom.
