Kenmore Middle School - Customer Case Study

Kenmore Middle School in Arlington, VA, wanted to expand its long-standing commitment to SMART technology and improve classroom communication and collaboration across its instruction. Working with AVI-SPL, the school looked to create a more interactive learning environment that would support multiple students at once and better align technology with its curricula.

AVI-SPL implemented a SMART Collaborative Classroom featuring four SMART Boards, four ultra-short-throw projectors, five document cameras, an interactive LCD screen, sound amplification, and SMART Sync and Notebook software, along with initial teacher training. The result was a highly engaging space that students and teachers embraced, with staff reporting that students were excited to use the boards, more active in lessons, and able to collaborate and learn at their own pace.
