Johnson Controls, working with AVI-SPL, wanted to transform its Technology Experience Center in Milwaukee into an interactive environment that would turn guests into customers. The challenge was to create a guided, engaging showcase for HVAC, automation, and security solutions that was also easy for staff to control, manage, and customize for different visitor scenarios.

AVI-SPL designed and integrated a personalized interactive experience using AMX control technology, Panasonic and Mitsubishi projectors, interactive displays, touch tables, kiosks, and paperless briefing centers. The result was a hands-on tour center that lets visitors self-discover Johnson Controls’ solutions, while staff can control devices and content from an iPad; since opening, the center has welcomed hundreds of guests, and Johnson Controls says the response has been “amazing.”
