Invenergy, a Chicago-based clean energy company, needed to upgrade its control center so operators could more quickly monitor and respond to issues across its North American assets, including wind, solar, natural gas, and energy storage projects. To support this, AVI-SPL was brought in to design and integrate a new control room solution built around Christie technology.

AVI-SPL implemented a 10-screen video wall using Christie FHD552-X ultra-narrow bezel LCD displays in a 5-by-2 array, powered by five Christie Phoenix content management systems. The new ICC gives Invenergy a 24/7, at-a-glance view of 2,500 turbines across 35 wind farms, helping staff spot and troubleshoot abnormal conditions faster, improve operational awareness, and scale the system as future needs grow.
