A AVI-SPL Case Study
The Canada Science and Technology Museum, managed by Ingenium, required a comprehensive technology upgrade to create a more immersive and interactive experience for its visitors. The challenge was to integrate these new AV and collaborative solutions on a firm deadline for the museum's official reopening. Vendor AVI-SPL was brought on to deliver this project.
AVI-SPL implemented a solution featuring a massive outdoor LED canopy and a projection system using Barco laser projectors for the building's façade, controlled by a Christie media server. Inside, they integrated wireless microphones, video conferencing, and 4K displays in classrooms and collaboration spaces. The result was a highly engaging experience for guests and improved tools for staff collaboration. AVI-SPL successfully completed the project on time and on budget, with the impactful technology serving as a beacon that draws visitors to the museum.
