City of Mesa unifies 8 meeting rooms and 2 council chambers with AVI-SPL

The City of Mesa was remodeling its City Hall to encourage community involvement but found its original audiovisual plans were inadequate for the spaces' intended use. They engaged vendor AVI-SPL to design and deploy a fresh human-centric AV and UC ecosystem to meet specific council requirements like real-time voting and clear content visibility.

AVI-SPL implemented a standardized AV-over-IP solution using Crestron NVX as its core to distribute content across council chambers, a control room, and eight conference rooms. The solution included dvLED video walls, Shure microphones, and Panasonic cameras. The result is a streamlined and user-friendly system that requires little training and provides transparent communication, allowing constituents to clearly see and hear every council session. The City of Mesa praised AVI-SPL for its flexibility and collaboration throughout the project.
