Canada Science and Technology Museum - Customer Case Study

Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa partnered with AVI-SPL during a major three-year renovation led by Ingenium to modernize the aging museum and create a more engaging, hands-on visitor experience. The challenge was to deliver AV and collaboration technologies on a firm opening deadline while helping future-proof the museum for staff and guests.

AVI-SPL integrated a range of solutions including LG 4K displays, NEC and Epson laser projectors, Barco projectors, Christie Pandoras Box, Polycom video conferencing, Shure wireless microphones, Crestron control panels, and secure Chief mounts. The result was an immersive, interactive museum experience across galleries, classrooms, the auditorium, and the striking outdoor projection façade and LED canopy, with staff noting strong visitor reactions and successful on-time reopening in November 2017.
