Camelot Education, a national leader in alternative education, needed a better way to engage at-risk students in its Chicago-area Excel academies and therapeutic day schools. To support more interactive learning for students ages 16 to 21, the organization turned to AVI-SPL and SMART Boards with Notebook software.

AVI-SPL integrated SMART Boards and Notebook software in multiple classrooms at Camelot Academy of Chicago and the Camelot Academy of the Quad Cities, and also trained teachers on best practices. The solution let multiple students participate at once and brought charts, graphs, and embedded video to life, resulting in very positive student response and making lessons easier for teachers and more engaging for students every day.
