Ave Maria University needed AV systems that would blend with the campus’s architecture while giving staff a way to centrally manage the many systems connected to the campus network. AVI-SPL was selected to integrate AV solutions across classrooms, training rooms, lecture halls, dining areas, the Oratory, and a new network operations center, using technologies from brands including Chief, Crestron, Extron, Harman, Shure, and Sony.

AVI-SPL delivered a campus-wide AV integration that included a network operations center with a 2-by-2 cube array, remote web monitoring, and digital broadcast/streaming for campus TV channels. The Oratory received a tailored sound system with steerable line array speakers, delay speakers, and balcony reinforcement, improving speech and music coverage for 1,100 worshipers. As a result, Ave Maria University gained better campus-wide monitoring of AV, life safety, fire, security, data, HVAC, and water systems, along with clearer audio and video in 15 classrooms and training rooms.
