ArtsQuest, the nonprofit behind the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, Pa., needed a flexible audio and video environment for its 65,000-square-foot entertainment venue. Working with AVI-SPL, the team set out to create a system that could support concerts, movie screenings, live theater, banquets, and private events while remaining easy for staff to manage across the facility.

AVI-SPL implemented an integrated AV solution using AMX control, Sharp and NEC displays, and Renkus Heinz speakers to distribute audio and video throughout the venue. The system lets staff route live or prerecorded audio to specific zones, manage content from multiple locations, and support the building’s unique architecture with calibrated sound. Since opening in May 2011, the ArtsQuest Center has hosted numerous high-profile events and received praise from both the press and patrons.
