Animating The Past Using The Technology Of The Future

The Mob Museum in Las Vegas wanted to create a highly interactive experience that would immerse visitors in the history of organized crime from the start of the tour. To achieve this, they partnered with AVI-SPL for AV integration across 26 exhibits, working within the constraints of a historic building and a tight construction schedule.

AVI-SPL integrated carefully placed speakers, video displays, touch panels, interactive kiosks, and projection systems from Christie, Panasonic, and Da-Lite to bring the museum’s exhibits to life. The result was a multi-sensory experience that opened to more than 3,000 guests, earned very positive visitor feedback and press, and helped the Mob Museum win “best museum” from Nevada Magazine.
