Palo Alto Networks, the next-generation security company, needed to quickly expand application capacity for growing teams while maintaining enterprise-grade load balancing and security in AWS. Their challenge was to migrate workloads to the public cloud, support firewalls in front of applications, and reduce manual effort and costs. Avi Networks implemented centrally managed, distributed load balancers on AWS for Palo Alto Networks’ support portal, security patching, and phone home applications. The solution delivered better application visibility and troubleshooting through Avi App Insights, cutting troubleshooting time by several hours and reducing deployment times from days to hours, while also enabling easier workload migration and more responsive IT operations.
