The City of Toronto Implements Best Practices and Increases Productivity with AVEVA

The City of Toronto’s Toronto Works and Emergency Services, Water and Wastewater Division faced fragmented, aging, facility-specific preventive maintenance and inventory programs that left teams largely reactive and unable to track costs or standardize practices. To support its Works Best Practices Program and close a productivity gap, the City of Toronto selected AVEVA’s Avantis.PRO Enterprise Asset Management solution.

AVEVA implemented Avantis.PRO to provide full EAM functionality—work management, inventory and procurement—enabling a shift to program-driven planned maintenance, faster and more accurate maintenance costing, and improved work-history visibility. As a result, AVEVA helped the City of Toronto identify tangible savings through optimized inventory and replenishment, lower procurement costs, improved productivity and customer service, and quicker access to accurate maintenance information.
