Oranjevis, a major fishmeal and fish oil producer in St. Helena Bay, South Africa, faced frequent downtime and slow faultfinding because its legacy SCADA required operators to check up to 23 monitors and had no historian reporting. To simplify operator interfaces, improve situational awareness, and build a stable, expandable industrial network, Oranjevis engaged AVEVA.

The AVEVA solution cut monitors from 23 to 4 (an 80% reduction), sped up alarm response and faultfinding, and helped Oranjevis boost fishmeal production by 20% while improving operational stability and operator training.
