NIS AD, one of Southeast Europe’s largest vertically integrated energy companies, needed to centralise and automate operations across oil fields spread over a 150 km × 100 km area to improve operator reaction time, reduce manpower and site travel costs, and strengthen real-time optimisation, collaboration and data integrity. To tackle diverse, distributed equipment and rapid expansion, NIS AD selected AVEVA and its software suite — System Platform, InTouch HMI & Access Anywhere, Alarm Adviser and Dream Report.

AVEVA implemented a centralized System Platform deployment spanning 64 platforms with 40 supervisor clients and 25 InTouch Anywhere remote clients, standardising processes, automatically propagating changes, and improving real‑time situational awareness. The AVEVA solution helped reduce staff labor costs by 20%, delivered a reported loss reduction of up to 300%, and increased overall production by 0.2%, while cutting downtime and speeding decision‑making.
