PML Exploration Services, an oil & gas wellsite services provider, needed a cloud-based, web-accessible system to deliver real-time gas and geological data to remote rigs and offices—previously reports were delayed as long as 12 hours. To meet requirements for mobile access, multilingual interfaces and timely alarms, PML selected AVEVA’s InTouch Edge HMI.

AVEVA implemented InTouch Edge HMI as a cloud-enabled SCADA/web solution across more than 60 active systems, using satellite connectivity, Web Thin Clients, mobile access and SQL integration. The AVEVA solution removed long reporting delays by delivering up‑to‑the‑minute data and alarms, enabling immediate drill adjustments for improved safety, well integrity, and measurable time and cost savings, while also providing geosteering capabilities and easy internationalization.
