Giprogazoochistka Group, a Russian EPC with long experience in gas purification, needed to replace an in‑house SQL solution and better manage evolving design changes and clashes between 2D and 3D models under a tight timeframe. They engaged AVEVA to deploy its Integrated Engineering & Design (IE&D) solution—including AVEVA Engineering—to create a single standard for datasheets and a common platform linking line lists, 3D models and pipe isometrics.

AVEVA implemented IE&D and AVEVA Engineering to link schematic, engineering and 3D objects as a single source of approved data, eliminating 2D/3D information clashes and enabling more efficient, collaborative design work. The solution produced datasheets for 25 pieces of equipment, helped Giprogazoochistka Group triple its headcount, enabled delivery of six times as many projects, and established an engineering data infrastructure that supports users throughout the project lifecycle.
