Eker, a growing Turkish dairy producer, faced manual, analog data handling and inconsistent product tracking that limited production efficiency and traceability. To transition to a fully automated facility and give its engineering team flexible, replicable process templates, Eker partnered with AVEVA, deploying AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA Historian (with implementation support from Wonderware Turkey).

AVEVA implemented System Platform as an industrial operating system to unify plant models, enable Industrie 4.0/IoT coordination and template-driven automation, while AVEVA Historian centralized real-time process data for analysis and reporting. As a result, Eker increased production capacity to more than 600 tons per day, improved product quality and traceability, boosted overall equipment efficiency, and now leverages a scalable Historian database (supporting up to 500,000 tags) to support growth and serve over 17,000 customers daily — delivering measurable savings across manufacturing, logistics and inventory.
