KTY Engenharia, a Brazil‑based engineer‑procure‑construct firm with over 30 years’ experience in oil & gas, energy and infrastructure, needed to improve design accuracy, manage large amounts of cross‑discipline data, and avoid errors from multi‑project collaboration with external partners. To meet these goals the company adopted AVEVA solutions, primarily AVEVA Electrical and AVEVA Instrumentation, to increase data integration and visibility early in projects.

AVEVA consultants implemented an integrated SQL‑backed workflow and 3D cable‑routing driven by AVEVA Electrical and AVEVA Instrumentation, producing organized datasheets, equipment and load lists, smarter diagrams and better interoperability with other design tools. The result: KTY routed more than 4,000 cable runs (over 200 km), connected 500+ cables quickly, managed projects across 172 plants with 1,300+ instruments and 170 datasheets, improved voltage‑drop calculations and material lists, and realized time savings and reduced rework thanks to AVEVA.
