Auto-Bake Uses AVEVA Supervisory HMI – a software solution to provide baking systems that make mouths water

Auto-Bake, a Sydney-based maker of automated commercial baking systems, needed a fast, secure and flexible control solution to modernize its compact vertical “Serpentine” ovens, replace aging proprietary touch panels, support multiple PLC brands (Rockwell and Siemens) and provide multilingual operator interfaces. To meet those challenges the company turned to AVEVA, deploying AVEVA’s Wonderware InTouch HMI and Wonderware Industrial/Touch Panel Computers as its standardized supervisory HMI solution.

AVEVA implemented the Wonderware Supervisory HMI Solution across Auto-Bake lines (more than twenty machines installed or upgraded), enabling pre‑configured InTouch on industrial PCs, integrated diagnostics, data logging and IP‑camera monitoring. The deployment delivered measurable benefits: increased plant uptime, reduced personnel needed to run lines, faster changeovers and shorter testing/commissioning times, remote troubleshooting that cut travel, and built‑in multi‑language support—resulting in improved product quality, consistency and lower operating costs.
