A AVEVA Case Study
The Federal University of Campina Grande partnered with AVEVA to close a skills gap in its chemical engineering program: students had limited exposure to industry-grade simulation software and were less prepared for professional roles. Via the AVEVA Academic Program, the university introduced AVEVA’s PRO/II, DYNSIM and the SimCentral simulation platform into its curriculum.
AVEVA delivered cloud access, hands-on simulator training and an open SimCentral environment that supports custom routines and differential equations; the program immerses more than 200 chemical engineering students in real-world process scenarios. As a result, students gain practical experience daily, sharpen problem‑solving skills, and leave UFCG better prepared for job placement and careers in process engineering.
