Amadori, a leading Italian food processor, needed to optimize temperature management across meat processing, stocking and preservation steps, ensure full traceability of temperature data for every stage, and migrate from an outdated control system. The plant also required a temperature control solution that adapts to external weather conditions to protect product quality and improve plant efficiency.

AVEVA delivered a Wonderware-based solution using Wonderware InTouch HMI, Wonderware Historian and Historian Clients to automate data capture, analyze environmental conditions and manage HVAC activation. The AVEVA implementation eliminated manual transcription errors, enabled regulatory compliance and improved traceability, optimized production cycles and energy management, and scaled from a few departments to the entire Teramo plant without disrupting PLC upgrades.
