Case Study: Evriholder achieves $14M inventory reduction and 70% forecast accuracy with Avercast

A Avercast Case Study

Preview of the Evriholder Case Study

Rolling the dice to predict the forecast

Evriholder, a consumer-products company known for innovative retail organizers, faced rapid product-line growth and poor demand forecasting that left thousands of SKUs and capital tied up in excess inventory. To streamline planning and improve accuracy they engaged Avercast’s forecasting software and services to reassess SKUs and centralize their forecasting process.

Avercast implemented its solution in about two months (2012), helping Evriholder cut SKUs from roughly 9,000 to 1,500, reduce inventory carrying cost from $22M to $8M (freeing $14M), and boost forecast accuracy from ~40–50% to around 70%. Avercast also helped increase inventory turnover, consolidate nearly 70 suppliers, shrink the team needed for planning, and improve visibility and collaboration with a single forecast.
