Veidekke ASA, Norway’s largest construction and civil engineering company, had adopted Office 365 early but faced new data retention requirements in 2017. They needed to retain about 10 TB of OneDrive, SharePoint and Office 365 Groups data for longer than the platform’s 30-day window and require fast, granular restores (lists, libraries, folders, versions, mailboxes and calendars) that native Office 365 could not provide without multi-day service requests.

AvePoint Cloud Backup was deployed to run automatic backups four times a day, retain up to 24 TB for a year in encrypted Azure storage, and enable item-level and out-of-place restores in minutes.
