TechSoup Global Performs Granular Replication And Complete Synchronization Of Web Content With DocAve®

TechSoup Global, a nonprofit technology provider, ran its public site across eight separate Microsoft SharePoint farms and needed a reliable way to stage and publish approved content without exposing unfinished items (Commerce Server published immediately). Native SharePoint replication proved inconsistent, and TechSoup required automated, granular replication from authoring to production plus full environment synchronization to reduce human error and support growth.

TechSoup implemented AvePoint DocAve Replicator to schedule granular replications (jobs running as often as every two hours), allow on‑demand live pushes by content managers, and perform a daily complete sync across all eight farms. The solution now replicates about 10 MB of updates across 800 product pages daily, keeps authoring and production in sync, reduces manual errors, empowers content teams to publish safely, and frees IT to focus on other priorities.
