San Francisco Federal Credit Union Shortens Time to Migrate to Microsoft® SharePoint Online® by Two Months with DocAve®

San Francisco Federal Credit Union, a not-for-profit with about 250 users, needed to move from on-premises SharePoint 2013 to Office 365 – SharePoint Online while minimizing cost, maintenance and user disruption. IT required granular discovery to decide what to move, needed to preserve metadata and customizations, and wanted a migration approach that wouldn’t interrupt daily work.

Using AvePoint’s Discovery Tool for pre-migration analysis and DocAve Migrator for the move, the credit union selectively migrated only needed content (including workflows and metadata), scheduled automatic after-hours and incremental sync jobs to avoid performance impact and data loss, and restructured sites as needed.
