Orangina Schweppes, the Barcelona‑based beverage company, acquired Sunny Delight’s European operations and needed to incorporate hundreds of thousands of Sunny Delight documents stored in a separate Microsoft SharePoint farm into its own environment. The key challenge was migrating 25 GB of business‑critical content (including item‑level permissions, metadata and version history) across Windows domains without losing permissions or disrupting users—an effort that would have been prohibitively time‑consuming if done manually or via custom scripting.

Raona partnered with AvePoint and used DocAve Content Manager to mount a temporary farm, restore Sunny Delight’s content database, and schedule a full-fidelity migration into the Orangina Schweppes domain. The move transferred 25 GB in about 14 hours and was completed in two days, preserving all permissions and histories, avoiding massive manual rework and saving roughly three months of custom development—resulting in a seamless transition for users and a foundation for broader SharePoint deployment.
