Prosperio Group Saves $1,200 by Protecting Microsoft® Office 365 Data in the Cloud with DocAve® Online

Prosperio Group, a Chicago-based consulting firm, centralized its collaboration tools by migrating to Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive). After the move they discovered SharePoint Online’s native recovery was limited (site-level only) and needed a cloud-based, no-hardware solution to provide fast, granular recovery of accidentally deleted or corrupted documents.

They implemented DocAve Online, a SaaS backup and management platform on Azure, to run incremental weekly and monthly full backups, enable item-level restores, and rely on 24/7 support. The service met their recovery requirements, eliminated the need for an on-premises server, saved about $1,200 in hardware costs by backing up directly to cloud storage, and will be extended to protect Exchange Online.
