The Police Academy of the Netherlands deployed Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 to support 13,000 users across staff, partner agencies and contractors, rapidly becoming mission-critical with 7GB of data in 10 Site Collections. Administrators needed item-level, full-fidelity protection with one-hour RTO/RPO windows and real-time, cross-domain Site Collection replication—requirements the native STSADM tools could not meet.
