PartyLite Europe Technology Gains Extensive Microsoft® SharePoint® Backup, Restore, and Management Controls with DocAve Online®

PartyLite Europe Technology, a direct seller of candles and home accessories operating in 24 countries, moved from on‑premises collaboration tools to Office 365 and SharePoint Online to reduce IT maintenance and enable flexible, cross‑border access. As adoption grew (250 initial users and a 120 GB environment expected to triple), IT needed granular cloud backup and restore, easy content reorganization between sites while preserving metadata, bulk permissions management, and the ability to meet German legal retention requirements.

To address this, the company deployed AvePoint’s DocAve Online, a fully hosted SaaS for Office 365 management. DocAve Online enabled scheduled incremental and platform backups with metadata preservation and granular restores, seamless copy/move of content between sites, and cloning of permissions to new users — reducing admin effort, speeding deployments, supporting compliance, and allowing IT to manage SharePoint Online from anywhere.
