National Records of Scotland Migrates Directly from Lotus Quickr and Lotus Notes to Microsoft® SharePoint® in Eight Weeks with AvePoint Client Services

National Records of Scotland (NRS), the Scottish Government department responsible for preserving national records, needed to consolidate legacy systems after merging two agencies. With roughly 60% of staff using Lotus Quickr and Quickr approaching end of support, NRS required an interim solution (SharePoint) that would maintain existing structure and permissions for its 450 users, but its IT team lacked the specialist skills to execute a full-fidelity migration.
