Mint Management Technologies Conducts Fast, FullFidelity Migration to Microsoft® Office 365 with DocAve®

Mint Management Technologies, a Microsoft-focused IT partner in South Africa, needed to move its business-critical SharePoint 2013 environment to Office 365 to reduce on-premises hardware, enable mobile access and modern collaboration, and cut storage. The team required an enterprise-grade migration that would preserve permissions, metadata and customizations, allow selective versioning (only the last three versions), and minimize downtime—capabilities the native tools could not provide.

Mint implemented AvePoint’s DocAve (Deployment Manager and Content Manager) to deploy customizations, test and audit jobs, and migrate content with full fidelity. The migration completed in one month with zero downtime, reduced migrated storage from 50 GB to 35 GB by retaining only three recent versions, preserved all permissions and metadata, and provided reusable mapping, detailed reporting and rollback capabilities for future jobs.
