Kabesa, an IT consulting firm for small and medium businesses, was engaged by a Montreal engineering client to solve fragmented document management across file servers, FTPs, email and cloud drives by moving to Office 365 SharePoint Online. While Kabesa prepared template site collections for project provisioning, native SharePoint Online provisioning would have required roughly two days per site, so they needed a faster, reliable way to replicate sites while preserving configurations, permissions and metadata.

Kabesa implemented DocAve Online, an Azure-hosted SaaS for Office 365 management, which replicated template site collections in about 20 minutes (a 99% time savings), enabled granular deployment of specific content types and customizations, and allowed copy/move/migrate/restructure operations while retaining permissions and metadata. The client gained a centralized, searchable document repository and extranet capabilities, Kabesa reduced implementation effort and support reliance, and the solution was delivered without writing custom code.
