Kinecta Achieved a Six-Figure Savings in Less Than a Year With Avatier’s Password Reset Solution

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, a West Coast member-owned credit union with roughly 1,000 employees and 275,000 members, needed to reduce service-desk workload and better protect sensitive identity information by cutting time and resources spent on Windows password resets. Kinecta selected Avatier and its Password Management - Password Station module as the first step toward streamlining password self-service and meeting regulatory security demands.

Avatier integrated Password Station into Kinecta’s two Active Directory environments with minimal customizations and pushed it to production in about six weeks. Within eight months service-desk ticket volume dropped roughly 15% and the credit union achieved six-figure cost savings in under a year, meeting its annual savings target, with plans to expand Avatier use into broader identity and access management (MFA/biometrics) over time.
