A Avatier Case Study

DriveTime Automates Between 40-45% of the Help Desk Tickets Each Month With Avatier Identity Anywhere

DriveTime, the nation’s largest used car retailer and finance company with roughly 3,800 employees and about 5,000 users, needed to improve application and permission management across SQL servers, Microsoft Active Directory and an AS400 environment while preparing for annual audits. DriveTime selected Avatier and its Identity Management Suite (AIMS) to address these identity, provisioning and governance challenges.

Avatier implemented AIMS (minus SSO) — including Password Station, Identity Enforcer, Group Requester, Compliance Auditor and Group Enforcer — and completed deployment in just over six weeks, integrating tightly with Active Directory and using virtual connectors for AS400. As a result, Avatier centralized access management, sped up identity verification, enabled company-wide configuration propagation, and is expected to automate 40–45% of monthly help‑desk tickets while improving audit readiness.
