TechSolvers, a managed services and IT consultancy firm north of London, needed better visibility and a more proactive way to keep small and medium clients secure as devices, apps and threats increased. To simplify billing and extend their team’s capabilities they moved from Kaseya to Avast Business Managed Workplace (Managed Workplace RMM) to centralize monitoring, patching and antivirus across customer networks.
Avast’s Managed Workplace gave TechSolvers on-demand remote control, automated alerting and scripted remediation, allowing their seven-person help desk to respond faster and avoid onsite visits. The move eliminated the need for LogMeIn Rescue and cut costs by about £1.7k per year (also avoiding ~£600 in third‑party license fees), improved proactive service through real‑time alerts and ticketing, and even enabled rapid provisioning of Avast antivirus licenses for a retail client within two days.
