A Avast Case Study
Premier One, a Topeka-based managed IT and security provider, needed a way to scale secure, profitable service delivery as its client base grew—particularly to make patch management less labor‑intensive and more consistent. To solve this, Premier One adopted Avast Business Managed Workplace, the vendor’s remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform, to automate and standardize patching across servers, workstations and remote laptops.
Using Avast’s Managed Workplace patch management features (including the Last Check for Updates field and agent/agentless monitoring), Premier One implemented a monthly, repeatable patch process that reaches devices even off‑network. Avast enabled them to deploy patches three times faster to twice as many endpoints, cut patching labor hours by about 45%, and positioned the company to double Managed Workplace deployments to new customers.
