Mark III Systems secures new business, gains new efficiencies using Managed Workplace

Mark III Systems, a Houston-based enterprise IT infrastructure and managed services provider, needed continuous visibility across disparate customer systems, applications, and devices to proactively address security and performance issues as it expanded into machine learning and end-user experience services. The team adopted Avast’s Managed Workplace (Avast Business Managed Workplace) after a 6–9 month evaluation to help monitor and automate management across diverse customer environments.

Avast implemented Managed Workplace for remote monitoring, automation, policy enforcement, customization, and reporting, giving Mark III a holistic view of endpoints, networks, and applications and enabling remote user-experience workshops. Using Avast’s solution, Mark III cut support demand and saved about 100 engineering hours per week, secured four new customers in 2017 (and added new functionality for four existing customers), and became more proactive and efficient in security assessment and management.
