Brite Computers realizes new benefits with move to Managed Workplace cloud platform

Brite Computers, a Victor, N.Y.–based managed services provider, had used Managed Workplace for years but struggled when hosting the platform on its private cloud, which caused operational issues and left the company hesitant to upgrade and disengaged from the vendor. Seeking to realign its partnership and support current business goals, Brite re-evaluated its strategy with Avast and decided to adopt Avast Business Managed Workplace on the Avast Hosted Cloud.

After strategic discussions with Avast, Brite moved to the Avast Business cloud-hosted environment and upgraded to the latest Managed Workplace; the vendor also helped implement service plans for faster onboarding. The change reduced costs and overhead, added redundancy, improved endpoint monitoring and the ability to manage entire customer sites from one interface, and materially sped onboarding (Brite closed four new customers in ten business days and said service plans saved roughly a week of work); six months later Brite reports reduced maintenance, time and cost savings, and a re-engaged partnership with Avast.
