Bonava, a leading housing developer in Northern Europe with about 2,000 employees, was spun off from its parent company in 2015 and given nine months to recreate its entire IT environment. Facing 250 temporary job sites, multiple regional offices, diverse mobile devices and data‑sovereignty requirements, the company needed a fast, mobile‑first, cloud‑first solution rather than a time‑consuming on‑premises rebuild.

Partnering with Avanade and Microsoft, Bonava implemented Secure Productive Enterprise—Office 365, Windows 10 Enterprise and Microsoft EMS—on Azure, using Intune, Azure AD Premium and SharePoint Online to migrate and manage applications and devices. The team moved 21 apps to SaaS in nine months and now runs 30+ cloud apps, eliminating local LANs at remote sites, enabling secure anywhere access, simplifying management, accelerating geographic expansion and improving collaboration and productivity.
