Segex adopts a new ERP solution to reorganize its management system

Segex, a mid-sized French construction and civil engineering group specializing in urban planning, operates 15 companies with over 1,000 employees and more than €200M in turnover. After sustained growth, the group needed to reorganize its management tools to improve visibility and control over roughly 7,500 projects a year and to unify disparate systems around a single, reliable information platform.

With Avanade’s support, Segex implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX on a centralized SQL Server repository, standardizing processes across all entities and providing a real-time, 360° view of project profitability. The ERP eliminated duplicate entries, improved traceability and efficiency, streamlined accounting for some 40,000 supplier and 13,000 customer invoices annually, and simplified purchasing and reporting—delivering faster decision-making and stronger operational control.
