Pernod Ricard Spain, the maker of brands like Absolut, Chivas and Ricard, needed to modernize how its field salesforce tracked stock, restocked shelves and billed retailers. Reps were bogged down by manual processes that produced slow, often inaccurate customer and inventory data, so leadership sought a mobile solution built on their existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM to give reps smarter, faster tools on the road.
Avanade ran user research, then designed and built a cross‑platform mobile sales app (iOS/Xamarin) integrated with Dynamics CRM, adding features such as on‑the‑spot product scanning, auto‑fill forms, background reporting and battery‑saving automation. The result: quicker, more accurate inventory and billing, deeper customer engagement, better managerial insights, and improved sales, satisfaction and retention.
