Nippon Express, a global logistics company expanding across Asia, launched "Fun! JAPAN" to boost exchange between Japan and neighboring countries and support domestic clients. The challenge was to publish frequent, broad-interest content across multiple country sites and personalize the customer experience without relying on specialist technical staff.
To meet this, Nippon Express implemented the Sitecore Experience Platform on Microsoft Azure, enabling WYSIWYG editing, easy mobile optimization and a streamlined content workflow that supports publishing three to five articles per site per day. Within six months of launch (Indonesia then Thailand), the sites attracted over 140,000 members, and the company is now using visitor data to tailor content, coupons and experiences—improving engagement for both sponsors and consumers.
