Modern Muse empowers girls everywhere to make more informed career decisions

Modern Muse is an online hub that empowers girls, parents, and teachers to explore the diversity of STEM careers by connecting young people with real-life role models. In 2016 it launched a cloud-based social app and engaged Avanade to assess and implement key technical requirements — including authentication, privacy, and accessibility — on Microsoft Azure to support global scale.

The social app lets professional women create public profiles (education and career history), share photos and posts, and answer questions from girls, encouraging career exploration and inspiration. With Avanade’s support and Azure hosting, Modern Muse has expanded its reach to hundreds of girls worldwide.
