Hessenatie Logistics is a Belgium-based logistics provider offering handling, storage and distribution (2PL) as well as supply-chain management (4PL) across 130,000 m² of racked storage. As logistics moved toward greater vertical and horizontal integration, Hessenatie needed to evolve from a standard warehousing supplier into a strategic, technology-enabled partner able to manage complex, multi-customer flows—demanding significant investment in IT and information management.

To meet this challenge Hessenatie partnered with Avanade to build a custom Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP platform, HL-ware, that supports and optimizes warehousing, logistics and administrative processes and can be quickly extended for new customers. The solution enables cross-customer flow optimization and helped Hessenatie reposition itself as a strategic partner, establishing the company as one of the most innovative logistics providers in Europe.
