Gardner Denver, a global manufacturer of compressors, blowers, pumps and fuel systems with 40 manufacturing sites worldwide, needed a more connected digital workplace to preserve product quality, support geographic diversity and boost resilience to market fluctuations. The company sought a partner to deliver modern collaboration tools and a clear digital workplace strategy to improve employee collaboration and operational consistency.

Avanade migrated Gardner Denver’s legacy systems and Lotus data to Microsoft SharePoint, rebuilt the portal with improved UX, implemented 16 approval workflows and dashboards, and simplified identity and work‑group management. The new platform increased portal adoption and reporting capabilities, improved employee experience and productivity, and laid the foundation to extend integrated internal and external communications and a broader digital customer experience.
