Emile Egger & Cie SA is a family‑owned Swiss manufacturer of vortex pumps founded in 1947 with about 400 employees and subsidiaries across Europe, India, China and the USA. After rapid international expansion and a decentralized production footprint, leadership found the business still heavily paper‑based and lacking a global IT system to provide visibility into manufacturing costs, supply chain and intercompany finance—prompting a need to modernize ERP and standardize processes.

Emile Egger joined Microsoft’s Technology Adoption Program to deploy the new cloud‑native Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX7) on Azure and selected Avanade as its global implementation partner. The phased international rollout delivered a web‑based, mobile UI and integrated modules for procurement, production, finance, sales and warehousing, enabling faster user adoption and real‑time visibility. Results include streamlined global operations, improved forecasts and customer delivery accuracy, time and cost savings and a projected productivity uplift of around 20% within six months.
