Avanade Revives Microsoft Dynamics AX at EVS

EVS is a Belgian provider of broadcast hardware and software with about 500 employees and a worldwide footprint. Rapid growth and a shift from product delivery to complex project management exposed weaknesses in its IT landscape: an earlier Dynamics AX rollout failed, ad‑hoc web apps created siloed processes, and the company lacked a unified back‑office and global CRM adoption, requiring a major ERP and change‑management effort.

Avanade was engaged to re‑implement Microsoft Dynamics AX, prioritizing accounts receivable, inter‑company transactions, stock and logistics, and running global roadshows and seminars to drive adoption. Avanade also integrated AX with Dynamics CRM and built BI cubes with SharePoint reporting, automating budgeting and reporting. The result was restored system stability, fewer manual processes, faster decision‑making and improved agility to support EVS’s continued growth.
